Nook Desktop music downloads
In this folder you will find downloads for all music used in the Nook Desktop app by Mat L, aka mat/mn6.
How to install
Firstly, in your Nook Desktop app's settings, disable the setting called "Don't download music". I am not 100% sure but it's possible keeping that setting enabled might delete unused music files.
When you download any of the .zip files in this folder, you will find a folder inside it with the same name as the .zip file.
Within that folder, you will find several meta-<category>-<hour>.json files and a folder called sound containing the corresponding audio files.
Windows
On Windows, go to C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\nook-desktop\userSettings and extract the files from the .zip file's folder into there.
You may replace existing files, but you do not need to.
If you cannot find that folder, the zip file has a .lnk file (a shortcut) that should open that folder for you. Extract the "Place folder contents in here.lnk" file anywhere and double-click it like any folder.
The result should look something like this:
Click/tap to toggle image
You don't need to worry about the other .json files in this folder, simply leave them be.
You might have to restart Nook Desktop for it to recognise the new files. The settings page should show an increased amount of music files downloaded on the settings screen under "offline".
Linux
Place the files in ~/.config/nook-desktop/userSettings.
If you changed your $XDG_CONFIG_HOME variable, replace ~/.config with whatever you changed that variable to.
If you can't find it, use this command: find / -iname nook-desktop 2>/dev/null
